EPLT offers specialized institutes, workshops and short-courses developed in collaboration with Faculty of Education departments and centres. These programs generally offer a credit and a non-credit registration option, for those interested in professional development.

Some programs listed below are offered by UBC-Okanagan Faculty of Education. For information on these programs contact Wendy Klassen, Associate Professor, UBC-OFaculty of Education.
For courses that list a non-credit option, please use the online registration and payment system (click the "Register Now" button located at the bottom of the individual program webpage).
All courses are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. If there is a cancellation, course fees will be reimbursed.
If you are a teacher and have a Tuition Fee Certificate, you can use the certificate to register as a non-credit participant for the Summer Institutes. The certificate only covers the cost of the institute fee, it does not cover the cost of course materials or any other fees. Most programs are 3-credits, so if you Tuition Fee Certificate is less than 3-credits you will need to pay the difference. For more information, contact Jeanette Hansen (604-822-2013).
